Victoria learned to blend her focus on film production by mixing mediums at the University of Central Florida where she completed 4 short films. After receiving a Kodak Grant she utilized super 8 and 16mm not only as an aesthetic but as a medium for her projects. Steering into experimental filmmaking she began video installations in 2016. In 2017 she was a guest artist for Art in Odd Places, and had work showcased at the Orlando Museum of Art. She has been part of the Enzian / Florida Film Festival team since volunteering in 2013. As an Intern from 2016-2018 she helped to champion the start of an shorts program block “Sunspots: New visions of the Avant-Garde.” In fall 2018 she attended the New Orleans film festival as part of the “rural filmmaker” initiative. In summer 2022 she attended Robert Schaller’s Rocky Mountain hand-made film camp outside of Boulder, Colorado. Here she learned how to make ‘hand-made film’ yeah the sticky stuff on the back of celluloid.
